Per-Hit Expression
Force controls velocity and harmonic intensity. Tilt shapes decay time — steep angle for short attack, flat for long sustain. Position tunes pitch ±1 octave (X) and sweeps filter cutoff (Y). Roll (Pencil Pro) modulates noise color and filter character. Every dimension is captured per step and reproduced on playback.
Post-Strike Gestures
Flick up triggers a bandpass sweep. Flick down chokes instantly. Left/right bends pitch ±0.5 octave. Drawn contours let you sketch custom amplitude envelopes directly on each pad with the pencil tip. High-speed flicks fire ghost retriggers at 25% velocity.
